Direct Axis informed in January 2013 that someone was trying to apply for a loan using my ID number. I indicated to them that I have never applied for a loan with Direct Axis. They indicated that they will block the loans. Apparently in February 6, 2013 there was a loan that was approved with Direct axis with my ID. I only found on 08 Feb 2013 when I was checking my profile with FNB. The loan was linked to my main FNB acc and the debit order was supposed to go through though the money was deposited to an ABSA acc according to the information I received from Direct Axis. I was asked to send an affidavit stating that I did not apply for the loan. I did that but later when I called for progress I was told that the copy of my ID is required and the affidavit stating that the loan was not taken with Direct Axis. I sent the affidavit with a copy of my ID. They confirmed that the ID differs from the one that was used to apply for the loan. on 27 February 2013 when I called for feedback they indicated that they need affidavit that states that I did not take the load with Dial Direct. Idid n't know that until today. They do not call unless you call them.
