I have been having unauthorized debit orders o my capitec account in the month of December, January and February. In the month of January I went into a capitec branch and the debit order was reversed, i however was also advised that it had been blocked. To my disappointment, the debit order went off my account again yesterday 26/02/2013, a consultant advised me that Capitec no longer does debit order reversals, so basically I lost money for absolutely no reason! All other major banks do reversals, as a customer I should have a say in what should happen with my account and with my money. What is the point of banking with a bank that will not listen to you as the customer??? As of the month of March I shall have no dealings with Capitec, I am moving over to a bank that identifies my needs, a bank that also gave me a loan when Capitec declined me time and time again. I will not bank with a bank that shows a lapsed application with the Financial Services Board either, so much for being a financial services provider. To with Capitec, today I am moving my salary and debits over to a REAL bank.
