Struggling to get answer and delays

Good day

I applied for a credit card on the 9th of February because I am a newly working person. I knew I was not going to earn my full salary at the end of the month and would need a credit card, so I applied early as I was told it would take about a week (I applied in store with all required documents). Last week on the 20th I called to follow up and you notified me that the application was on hold because of outstanding documents, you never notified me of the fact and it was a copy that you guys made. I am now running very low on time and will suffer penalties and bad credit ratings because of this delay. I still don't know if I will be able to get a credit card.

I also applied fro a cheque account and was asked what card I would like. I chose the floral pattern and then when you delivered my card it was a plain card.

I have called a number of times about the credit card and keep on getting different answers about how long it will take.
