In October 2012, when I asked Outsurance to quote me on my new vehicle, they initially gave me a quote of - R1500 pm and after informing Shaka that I got a better quote from a competitor, he then told me to hold on as he "will" get me a better quote. He then came back with a better quote and I accepted. When I called them on Wednesday to ask a quote for my other vehicle, I found out but my drivers license date is incorrect. Outsurance investigated and concluded that I gave the correct information and the consultant was at fault, but my premium and excess will now increase as a result of this. What BULL is that??? I feel that my details was intentionally manipulated in order for Shaka to give me a better quote, to seal the deal and in return pocket his "incentive" for the sale. I am seriously disturbed for being held liable for a "" act being committed by Outsurance. Question: When an offer was made by Shaka (a representative of Outsurance) and I accepted the offer. Is that not a binding contract? Why would you now want to change that contract without my consent? And yes, it is without my consent as I do not accept this!!!
