I have a monthly Debit Order with Nedbank for the 26th of each month. Today, they took their money off my STD BANK PRIVATE ACCOUNT - 5 days early! THIS IS NOT THE 1st TIME!! When querying this, I was informed that Nedbank starts tracking my PERSONAL STANDARD BANK ACCOUNT before the due date and if there are funds available, they take what is due to them?! Furthermore, when I asked this person (with no sense of customer service!) to cancel the debit orders (AS I DO NOT WANT THIS KIND OF THING TO HAPPEN AGAIN - AS THIS IN NOT THE FIRST TIME), I was told that this will happen. You are tied to the Debit Order due to an Agreement. YES, I AM TIED TO AN AGREEMENT AND THE AGREEMENT STIPULATES THAT THE DEBIT IS DUE ON THE 26TH OF EACH MONTH!! Finally, from the same employee of Nedbank... NEDBANK CANNOT REVERSE THE DEBIT AS THIS WILL TAKE TILL WEDNESDAY OF NEXT WEEK AND BY THEN THE DEBIT WOULD HAVE HAD TO GO OFF ANY WAY... so, basically, NEDBANK HAS CLEARED MY BANK ACCOUNT, IN A SUSPICIOUS MANNER FOR FUNDS THAT ARE NOT DUE YET, LEAVING ME WITH NO MONEY FOR THE WEEKEND!!! This is disgusting and questionable and I DEMAND answers!
