My name is Angelique. I saw all the advertisements on TV about First National Bank and what great service they give and how they can help... I decided that I wanted to switch my bank account to FNB. This took 4 weeks as I had to stand in a long line to get my card. It does not get delivered to you, you actually have to fetch it yourself. On collection of my FNB card I provided my proof of address and ID document. The lady at the desk confirmed with me that she will up date my address on their system. After my first month with FNB everything has been going well until I received my statement. The address still had not been updated to my current address. On 21/02/2013 at 1:50 I called FNB East Gate and informed them of this. The lady confirmed with me that they have a copy of my address on their system but I still need to come in for FNB to change my address. Why do I need to come in? To stand and check that the address gets changed? FNB has a copy of the proof of my address on their system. What more do you want? It was their mistake but they ask me to come in again? After sitting and waiting and being late for work just to receive my card and now do that again. I am sorry, PLEASE HELP!!!
