Debit order date not changed for extra interest

About a year ago i changed my debit order date from the 20th of each month to the 25th, today i logged on to my internet banking and noticed that my debit order date is still the 20th of each month which means that FNB has been charging me extra interest for the past year now as their incompetent staff cannot do their jobs as required.

I would like to put in a request for the full years interest to be refunded to me as this your fault and not mine at all or i will take this further and close all the accounts i have.

If you check my records the change would have been done the same day that my debit order date for my gold cheque card was changed. I am sure that you guys can think for yourselves that if i change my cheque account debit order date I would want to change my credit card debit order date as well.
