Credit Limit Increase, Poor Service/Response

After hearing the offer that FNB has to consolidate ones debt onto a credit card with at a reduced rate of around 9% for the first 9 months I decided that I would take up the offer. I firstly applied for a credit limit increase on my card and stated that I need the funds rather urgently. I was told that the application has to go through the credit dept for approval. Well it is now day number four and I still have absolutely no idea what is going on. There has been no contact from the bank to inform me if it is approved or declined and when I phone in they cannot tell me what is going on. Seems there is no communication between the consultants and the approval dept. I then phoned the balance transfer dept asking them if they have any info for me and frustratingly they were none the wiser. They also informed me that once the limit has been increased I have to wait another week or so for the balance transfer to be done. This is insane! I expect way better service and turnaround from FNB, I have been banking with this bank for over 10 years now and all the advertising about how FNB delivers above other banks seems untrue. I am very dissapointed in FNB's poor service and turnaround!!
