My wife and I got married recently and she had to change her surname to mine and she went to absa to update her details with her new ID she was told to bring the marrige certificate proof, she went there today 20/02/2013 with the marrige certificate as told and now they say the want proof of resident with the new Surname on it, How is that possible with a week old ID and number two why didn't they mention this on the first visit. My wife had to take a day off to sort this thing out now they have waisted her time plus money going there. Please explain this to us.
