I am what I would consider a rather loyal customer to the First Rand group. My current account, savings account, credit card, home loan and car (and of course eBucks) are ALL with FNB/Wesbank (and don't forget Paypal). My wifes car is also with Wesbank and she also recently moved her whole companies fleet to Wesbank.
I currently pay prime on my car and wish to finance a new (used) car and have been quoted a lot more than my current rate, which does not make sense at all to me. Now I'm not sure if the dealer is trying to rip me off in some way but there are several inconsistencies in what she tells me about Wesbank and what I know for a fact so I would appreciate it if someone from Wesbank could review my application, confirm the facts and get in touch with me. Either the dealer or Wesbank are making poor excuses for a silly rate quoted.
Currently as it stands there are better offers from other providers however I would prefer to have all accounts with one institution but obviously I will be moving away from Wesbank if they can't at least match what my current car rate is.
