How can Standard Bank Namibia be the only bank that do not offer a Visa or Mastercard Debit Card? FnB, Nedbank and Bank Windhoek all have debit cards enabled for online purchases but Standard Bank either don't care or still live in the dark ages. I do not want a credit card to do online transactions, I want to be able to use my normal debit card for this. Standard Bank in South Africa have this facility, so why not Standard Bank in Namibia?
My second complaint revolves around me having to go to the branch again and again to sort my card out. I'm on my second card that does not allow me to withdraw from my account, it just says invalid transaction. I then also get told that I have to select other account to withdraw and that's "just how it works" yet I've never had to do that before.
Your service is disgusting Standard Bank and the reason I've applied to bank elsewhere. When you managed to get yourselves sorted out, only then will I consider banking with you again
