UNITY INSURANCE REFUSES TO PAY OUT AFTER ACCIDENT

I HAD BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT 20/12/2012 WITH MY MAZDA3 1.6 SPORT ORIGINAL 5DR WHICH RESULTED IN MY CAR BEING WRITTEN OFF ACCORDING TO THE ASSESSORS. CLAIM NO 850076632/7. TO MY GREAT DETRIMENT AND DISAPPOINTMENT UNITY PHONED ME A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER & SAID THEY WON'T PAY OUT BECAUSE MY CAR WAS NOT ROADWORTHY DUE TO MY TYRES HAVING BEEN RUNDOWN. I TOLD THEM IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE AS I PUT ON NEW TYRES DURING MID-OCTOBER 2012. THEY ASKED FOR PROOF WHICH I THEN SUPPLIED, SENDING AN E-MAIL TO THEIR ASSESOR AT TELESURE, [Email Removed] . HE CONFIRMED RECEIVING MY MAIL & PROMISED TO GET BACK TO ME, WHICH HE NEVER DID. AS THE ACCIDENT HAPPENED ON THE 20TH BUT THE CAR HAD BEEN STORED AT SMD ON THE 21ST, I SUPECT THAT MY ORIGINAL DUNLOP TYRES, WHICH I HAVE A RECEPIT FOR, WAS & REPLACED WITH RUNDOWN CONTINENTAL TYRES. I AM VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE WAY I HAVE BEEN TREATED THUS FAR, AS I GAVE THEM PROOF OF THE ORIGINAL DUNLOP TYRES THAT WAS ON MY CAR. THEY SEND ME A BILL LAST WEEK ASKING ME R1500 FOR STORAGE AND TOLD ME TO REMOVE THE VEHICLE. I NEVER WAS IN AREARS WITH UNITY'S INSTALLMENTS, BUT NOW THATI HAD AN ACCIDENT AND NEEDED THEM I AM EXPERIENCING ALL THESE PROBLEMS WITH THEM.
