We bought a house last year and Currently the house has not been registered yet. When we follow up with the attorneys they said that Standard Bank has lost the title deed and they must put in a request for a new title deed to be issued. The attorney followed up with Standard Bank but received no feedback other than that the Sellar has to contact standard bank to issue a new title deed. I dont see why we /or the seller have to keep following up with standard bank as they are the ones at fault here.
Please assist as this is dragging on too long and we are getting nowhere.
The seller's id number can be given on request.
