I did not know of an account in my name with Standard bank, it was a blue bean credit card. i had tried to get finance for something and found i was blacklisted, i contacted Transunion to find out who this was handed over to. It was to DMC, i contacted them, received a settle amount and subsequently paid that the same week. This was about 4 months ago. It is now 2013 and still nothing has been done about this account. I contacted DMC who gave me the paid up letter and i contacted this guy at Standard bank legal. According to him, they have no knowledge of this account been paid up, when i mail them, it takes days before i get any sort of response and every response is the same, "a dead end". I have forwarded the paid up letters and have my proof of payment but still, they are not removing my name from ITC.
