I have for the past three weeks calling this ABSA's number 0118463500 for me to be transferred to their pension fund department. The reason I keep calling is that I need status on my application for pension withdrawal.
For the phone to be answered I must either stay on the line for a good five minutes and even more or I must keep on trying my luck. When my call gets answered I will be transferred to the relevant extension and the only thing I get there is the voice prompt to say "so and so is not available please leave voice mail",
I find this very disappointing as I don't have another alternative to get hold of them, above everything there is no communication from them as to the status of the application.
