BANK STATEMENTS

Standard Bank Credit card divison is unable to supply me with the statements which will help me verify if the amounts been paid are reflected. This is because I received an sms from Attorneys on 05/01/2013 claiming that I made an arrangement with them to pay the first installment on 2012/12/20. I have receipts to prove payments made from 2011 till 2012. I contacted the bank who referred me to the Attorneys - who seemed not to have the records of my payments - instead I was sent from pillar to post with no help. All I need are the statements from the bank reflecting the information about the payments. I am now worried that since I made the enquiry, the bank might enter into some arrangements with the Attorneys and " cook-up" some statements to make me liaible for the Attorneys' fees which I am not prepared to pay.
