Absa
They cant switch my debit orders but FNB can?

I had two business accounts with absa, 1 savings and one cheque account.
I opened another cheque account and wanted to close the savings account and have all my debit orders moved to my new cheque account. I know this can be done because I have been offered this from FNB over and over again to get me to switch my accounts to them.
The consultant told me that absa will not be able to do this, I then informed her that if they cant I will move my accounts to fnb because they can. On this she told me she would find out if they wont be able to. Then I had to go in and we went true all my debit orders one by one.

Now I have been notified that sorry, they cant move it?
Why can FNB, do they really care more about another banks clients then the clients own bank? Seems like it.
I wont say Im the biggest client but the turnover in my savings account alone is about 6 million a year.
You would think for this money they would at least try.
