On the 31st January, a purchase was made on my account whilst I was at the comfort of my own home. I called to report the at the Standard bank line and I was told it would be investigated. Money was in and out of my account to a point where I had no control of what is happening in my account. I went to a branch (Mutual Park Branch), and my account and all transactions were rectified (according to the consultant- Bulelwa). My account was stable for a few days and I received an sms on the 6th to go get my new card at Pinelands branch and so I thought I would do it today (7th) to my surprise, on that new card, there were new transactions (transactions) made again from a different vendor. The card has not even been in my possession. Its a week from today and NO ONE FROM STANDARD BANK HAS CONTACTED ME REGARDING MY FIRST INCIDENT. No follow up was made. How come its possible that transactions can be made at a store without my consent with the card not even being in my possession?
The ref# i got from Tebogo (male) on the 31st is: 5548798 and today with the Mutual Park branch consultant we spoke to Hlengiwe.
