Still waiting!

I have been banking with FNB for the last 12 years. I have an overdraft facility and I regularly receive calls from there overdraft division encouraging me to extend my overdraft. These sales calls always have the ring of if there's an emergency then I would have the money available. This month as been one of those months, with excessive medical bills, and car trouble. I phoned your sales department on Wednesday and asked for a R2000 ext. I was told that I wouldn't have to send any docs because of my history with FNB. I was also told that it takes up to 3 working days, to which I responded that I needed the money rather urgently and when I had originally received my overdraft that it was instant. I was counting on this. I phoned back later to ask if it would be at all possible to have it come through on the Wednesday, to which I was told they would send a request for this. Today I phoned again, to be told that a request will be sent to ask if the process could be completed quickly. Again, no response? I have been banking with you for 12 years, surely it takes minutes to check my payment history and verify my income? So much for this being an option in an emergency situation.?!
