With regards to a recent accident I reported I was advised that I am not covered, I mean why then have insurance!!!
In the document there is statement that says the following:
Cover for your vehicle
If you have vehicle insurance, you might have noticed that your premium may have increased although the value of your vehicle may have decreased.
This increase is to ensure that you are correctly covered for not only and write-off but also the repair costs for accident damage. The cost of vehicle
repairs inflates regularly hence the increase in your premium.
I spoke to the a policy consultant today and according to them this is just a statement, I must not read that and need to look at my policy booklet. What is that all about that is a false statement don't put it in there or exclude this from SAVER packages. Who would I take out insurance if you are not covered for accident caused by 3rd parties.
I requested the telephone conversation from the beginning where this was explained. As I can recall this was not and it would then be pointless in having insurance with BUDGET.
