ABSA keeps on overcharging my account for fees that i did not agree to for example: They just charged me R32.50 for some kind of notification fee. is this no sms fax or e-mail costs this much, the description just says notification fee without any other description and there is no mention in the rates and fees documents of any notification fees. The next thing is according to the rates and fees document there is a monthly fee of R14 for administration fee, when i opened the account in potchefstroom i have been notified that this includes internet banking. just to find that there is an amount of R76.50 deducted for internet bank fee and there is no set date that this amount gets deducted. for instance this amount got deducted in december on a day that there was no money in my account. Suddenly i could not make any internet payments later the month i had to make an important payment which in the end costed me more than R200 for all the calls and visits to the branches. ABSA stop my money, if i dont get an explanation on all these or a refund i will open a case of.
