During January this year my little Peke Gemma had to undergo a back operation as she had a slipped disc in her back. Four years ago she had a Neck op, and due to the excessive costs THEN, I joined Medipet as I have two Pekingese.. I was told that her Neck would be an exclusion as it was a pre-existing condition. Fair enough!
Gemma was operated by a Specialist and today, 3 weeks later, she is happy and running around after being partially paralized. Just after her op, I contacted Medipet and Kerry asked me to send through her case history for the last four years. I did, and she immediately told me that as it was her Back this time, we would be covered. Less than 3 weeks after I submitted the claim I was just informed by Kerry that my claim was refunded today.
Many thanks Medipet, for assisting with this huge expense. Kerry was fantastic and I never had a query just support.
They truly keep to their word and what is portrayed in the policy is exactly what you get.
