I am trying to get my UCount tier setting according to the internet offered settings.
I have been trying since July 2013 to get the settings correct, but with no success.
I have spoken/dealt with to the following five people at UCount Vusi, Rowan, Sandiswa, Nutasha and Jude at various intervals, but have only been given the run around. Various useless references given as well.
I spoke to my private banker and visited two different client services bankers at Brooklyn branch, but it got worse.
The UCount tier is apparently updated only once a month. Every time I am told it will be correct at the end of the month. Which in my mind is just a method to get you off their backs as they could/would actually not help you.
At the end of January 2014 I was waiting anxiously for my tier to move from 2 to 4 or at least 3. What a surprise when I looked on 3 Feb to find out I am at tier 1, lost 300 points from 450 to 150. How?
I wrote an email and Sandiswe responded to with no explanation, just we will look into it.
My guess is that Standard Bank wanted to copy FNB after their successful campaign with 'STEVE', but messed it up completely.
Maybe Steve has it write and 'Beep Bank' not!
