AVAF messes up rate increase

Thanks ABSA for messing up a simple 500 basis point rate change on all three of my vehicle loans. Instead of increasing my rate by the 0.5% you go and add the new prime rate of 9% to my current rate of 8.5% and now reflect my rate as 17.5%. What happened to test runs and sign off before running in production??
