I received marketing email from Loans Connect titled: SA new loan provider and they offer loans to blacklisted clients and if you fill form in full one of their Consultant will contact you. not knowing if you fill form in full you are bound to pay them. I did fill form in full under impression that I was applying for Loan as their e-mail stated and I was not even contacted by anyone except Credit Intel saying I owe their client. I had never received any product/services from Loans Connect and they told me by just filling in the form you owe them. I refused to pay them as on their e-mail they said they offer loans not insurance policies. Its misleading.
I asked Credit Intel to provide me with procedures of how to lodge a formal complaint with their Client and which industry regulates them? Ombudsman? whether they subscribes to CPA or not? and which financial institution is their Client is representing? but instead of Credit Intel answering my questions they threaten to Blacklist me if I do not pay which I believe is Unethical. I have proof of e-mails between me and Credit Intel.
I realized that Credit Intel also mislead public saying the matter has been sorted umbicarlly
