I have been insured with Virgin Money Insurance since March 2012. At the end of January my premiums came to apprx R515. As of 1st February they have rocketed to R773. When I called them they could give me no explanation and were unwilling to discuss any reduction. I cannot understand how my premiums could jump by 50%, including a R110 increase on my car insurance despite the car only devaluing over time. This is shocking and I am changing insurance company immediately.
