I am still a student living in Pretoria and my parents are helping me out with home insurance at Santam. Recently they broke into my home and we registered a claim with Santam over a month ago. First they sent an Assessor to my home to investigate. She told me it will pay out in 5 - 10 working days. After that I contacted her where she said it will be settled the next day. It has now been 3weeks with continuous excuses. As I am unfortunately under my parents who are paying for the insurance I feel helpless in the matter and highly frustrated. As I am qualifying towards a patent lawyer and will be taking over responsibilities like insurance. Santam will definitely be the last company EVER to be considered by myself.
