Following repairs to my vehicle resulting from a 'rear-ending' accident, I was required to pay an excess as required by my policy.
I was advised by the Budget Consultant that procedures would be initiated to see if the excess could be recovered from the other vehicle driver. Despite establishing that the information supplied by the other driver, Budget Insurance and in particular Selwyn Mooi persisted with their investigation (for many months). I have been advised that the refund of the excess is currently being process. The excess is a relatively small amount, but being a pensioner who has limited finances it is a large number to me. It is encouraging in these days of 'poor service' complaints to see organisations and people of the likes of Selwyn Mooi looking out for the 'small man'.
