I have a loan & credit card with African Bank. I have recently gone under debt review. African Bank has been notified of this but they still keep debiting my account. I even had to change banks in order for them not to debit my account. They are now debiting the account that is no longer in use. I want to close this account but I cannot because I now owe the bank for all the charges for the unpaid debit orders. I am not willing to pay for these charges because I informed African Bank in time that I am going under debt review. My debt counselor has since sent them the necessary documents but they debit anyway. I have now incurred another debt because of them. I am not happy at all. I will never ever use African bank services again & I would not recommend anyone else to go there as they will rip you off.
