Last year we had a lady who made us open the incorrect business account. We then had to cancel that account and open a new one AND send through an amendment form for our debit order details which she confirmed she did. No debit went off on the 25th of December after I specifically asked our home debit order to commence on that date. I called home loans and was told they had the old account details so I sent through another amendment form and asked if we would be debited correctly this month and if we were in arrears, which I was told it wasn't, so I can settle the outstanding amount if necessary. I did not receive any message saying money was deducted on my account instead this morning I received a notification that my account is 2 months in arrears. I call the bank and kept getting transferred. I spoke to three different ladies (Nhlanhla, Miriam and Dimpho) from different departments who all could not assist as someone has stopped my account and my account needs to be reinstated in order for the debit order to go through successfully. I now have to take time off my busy schedule to go to a branch and rectify an error I did not cause. Standard needs to catch a wake up, I'm fed up!
