Im Lindiwe Leeuw id no i open a policy with metropolitan on april and my first debit order was on the 26th may 2013 i covered my mon. the day i opened the policy they told me waiting period for spouse and parents its 3 months and on their contract it say you are covered from the 1st day of your premium paid, my passed away on the 31 october 2013, i went to metropolitan to claim and they told me they cannot pay because waiting periond its 6 months, even now when we the metropolitan brokers they are still saying the same thing waiting period its 3 months. the guy who helped to open this policy he is still saying the same thing.
i asked my sister to call metropolitan and try to open the policy and hear what they say, and they told her the waiting period its 3 months. why is metropolitan crooking people by giving them false information. what i want is my claim to be paid.
