I logded a claim with AF on 7 Nov 13 with Mr Mkhabela who told me that the 3rd party process takes up to 60 days and AF will contact me to advice me where to take my car for evaluation. From that day I waited for thier call and they never called and i thought there is still time because 60 days is not up. I sent a few e-mails to Mr Mkhabela who did not respond.
After the 60 days from the 7 of Jan 14 I started calling Mr Mkhabela who kept on refering me to other people who refered me other people and not helping at all. One of them said she will call me back as soon as they find my file but she never did and i called back. I ended up talking to Ms Van Zyl who said she cant talk and requested an e-mail instead. few days after sending the e-mail she did not respond to them and when i called and asked when she will get back to me she said she will get back to me and droped the phone. To this day i am stuck with a car without a mirror and i want to fix it my self because i need to go around and avoid fines but i cant fix it before AF evaluates it. AF is pushing me to fix my car so that they can hide behind "We didnt see the car and no proof of damage". Anything to avoid payining.
