After having been with Standard Bank for around 30 years I went to close my accounts after a spate of mistakes and bad customer service. I was dealt with in a friendly enough manner but not one of the 3 people I dealt with asked why I was closing my accounts or showed any remorse that I was leaving Standard Bank. If I had any doubts before I definitely know now that I did the right thing moving my accounts to another bank. Standard Bank wake up and start valuing your customers!
