I have called direct Direct Axis customer service to find out about my balance using my cell phone since I do not have access to the land line. I was told that my account is with the debt review department of which I know that for sure. I called the debt review department which is based in Cape Town. The gentleman that assisted me said I show drop them an e-mail requesting the balance and I did likewise. This all happened on 18/04/2013. I asked the gentleman how long will it take fir me to get a feedback, he then said 24hrs.

The e-mail was sent the same to [Email Removed] @ 13:00pm to be exact. Till today there is no feedback. This account is linked to my FNB account which shows me that the account is on minus. I received the statement on 17/04/2013 dated 15/04/2013 and on the statement is shows .00 instalment and R620.54 arrears.

Does this mean when someone is on debt review you receive no attention because the e-mail was never returned to show that I have typed the wrong characters. I have never defaulted on this account ever since.

Today is the 3rd of May and still no feedback.

How do I deal with the situation?
