FNB Credit Card Personilized Interset rate a

So I contacted the credit department via phone, according to FNB your credit card interest rate will be personalized automatically each year and I have been with them over 2 years and had to REQUEST a personalized rate.

The standard rate they start on was 21 % (ridiculous) so they got back to me and said they can offer me 20.5%. I was not happy cause other banks where able to offer me a much less % and they said but they do it according to a national standard that all banks work on. So I called them out on that explaining to them another bank is able to give a better rate but not my own bank.

So i requested please can they send me details of a person that I can contact directly and information of how they calculate it cause they said the calculation is done according to the individual person's credit record like all banks, each mail of FNB just says Credit card department. After requesting this information they just stopped replying to my mails i have sent 2 in the last month.

All banks are the same here I thought moving from ABSA to FNB would be better. So I just paid off my credit card and applying for a new one with Virgin. With a great rate by the way.
