Outsurance insisted that we get Tracker installed into our new car over a year ago. When I wanted to cancel to go to another company for a better deal they didn't even know that I had Tracker in the car, so I had paid tracker fees for a year without my insurance company even knowing it. Huh? Then to deinstall Tracker I needed to pay R1300 for my remaining 22 months contract I had with them which I didn't even know about as I never received their terms and conditions. Outsurance "passed the buck " in saying that it was my contract with Tracker and not them but who insisted in the first place that I have the Tracker installed and then they didn't even know about it for a year...
Outsurance advertises that they will give you R400 if they cant beat an insurance quote, well don't believe this because I received a quote from Outsurance double the amount of another company and their excuse was it has to be an existing policy with an existing company to qualify for the R400 and not for a new car. So I think their advertising is incorrect!
