I bought a car in May 2013 and were sold a Maintenance Plan and Warranty for the vehicle. Took the car to Tata Menlyn for clutch failure in September/October and was told that both the Maintenance Plan and Warranty were never captured on Liquid Capital's system and therefore were never activated. I was never informed of this. Denzel then tried to sell me a Service Plan for the same cost as a Maintenance Plan! I rejected it and demanded a full refund. We were instructed to fill in termination of contract forms so they could cancel the contract. They are now using this against us saying that I cancelled the contract. They have now only paid R8000 of the R16000 owing as they claim it is a pro rata refund - this after we received communication advising that the full R16000 would be refunded to our finance account. Can't believe the audacity!! Please don't ever buy a car from Tata or use Liquid Capital!!!
