Last week i received an email from Loan Detector SA telling me that i owe them money. I have never used their service and never gave them authorisation to debit my account. I was fortunate because I had no money in my account and they couldn't debit anything. This week I went to my capitec branch to cancel their debit order as i am scared they will take money from my account when i get paid. The consultant told me i needed a letter from LDSA to cancel my debit order. LDSA phones are offline and I cant get letter authorizing the debit order. Please help because come month end they will debit my account.
The email is as follows:
"According to our records your made an application with Loan Detector SA. Please note that your debit order has failed due to Insufficient Funds. Please contact our Collections department to make alternative payment arrangements. Failure to do so will result in you being handed over to our legal department for collection.
