Final open letter to a 'closed' bank

During the course of this new year, 2014, I will be closing my FNB Platinum Cheque account. I will also be closing my FNB Platinum Credit Card and Petrol Card. The current FNB homeloan is already under cancellation and it will not be followed up by a new homeloan with FNB. Instead, this coming Friday will find me rejecting FNB's homeloan offer and accepting ABSA's homeloan offer. The Wesbank account will soon be settled and Wesbank will not be the preferred choice for future vehicle finance. I will also be ending my services with FNB First Trust this year. They will no longer be the custodians of my Will or future executors of my estate. Neither will FNB be the choice for any future investments. It will all go to ABSA Bank, who is about to become my future bank from Friday onwards. ABSA will also become the bank that I recommend to others. If you care to know the reason, ask FNB Homeloans. I gave them the opportunity to decide over this and they have made this decision.
