Debt Collectors wrongfully called me!

I am placing this complaint in connection with your debt collectors. I got a call and several emails from them.
I had a student account with Standard Bank. The account was open for several months and my salary was paid into the account. I switched to Nedbank after I lost my Standard bank card, I went to a Standard Bank at savannah mall Polokwane. I cancelled the card and I told them to close the account.
I wanted to make a loan at Capitec bank after closing my Standard Bank account and I went to Standard Bank At Cycad Centre Polokwane. I asked the lady could print bank statements for me from a closed account, and she said that it is possible to do that. She printed the bank statements and I got a loan from African bank. There wasn't any activities since the date of closing the account. My resolution is that the lady would've told me if the account was still active! At this stage I am not willing to pay for the "banking fees" as this was your mistake! The arrears on the account wouldn't have been there if you closed the account. Your debt collectors said that you handed me over and that I should resolve the banking problem with you. You guys handed me over without trying to contact me
