I applied for a smart device with FNB yesterday, and received a sms today telling me that I have not met the credit criteria. I then called in and queried what the reason was that I did not qualify and was told because I did not meet the credit criteria. When you are a Gold cheque card holder with a deposit of R5000 and more I should qualify for the device, but because of some unknown reason I do not qualify. The amount deposited into my account every month is much more than this, so I do not understand. Being a client of them for many years, I am very disappointed.
