Medical Aid not paying accounts

We visited Dr Podde in June 2013 and the account was sent to Essential Med thereafter by the Dr. On 29 Oct 2013 the Dr's office phoned me and said that their account has not yet been paid. I phoned the medical aid and spoke to Deidre vd Heyde. She asked me to email her the account so she can ask the claims dept to pay asap. On 11 Dec 2013 no one contacted me or made payment. I emailed Deidre again and she then forwarded the email to claims dept. On 13 Dec 2013 I received an email from Tarryn Droomer saying that Carecross will not pay the acc as we had 3 months after Aug to put through all outstanding claims. This claim was submitted in June 2013. Not my problem if Essential Med can't do their job properly. I then submitted a complaint to all involved and until this day no one has bothered to give comment. I am not happy with the way this issue has been handled. We pay for a medical aid and for a service. Where is the service??
