Customer Services & Internet Banking Shocking

Firstly i accessed internet banking. A SECURE WEBSITE with necessary credentials to verify im the user/account owner. It has a feature to apply for an investment/savings account in internet banking (PURESAVE). I opened an account, transferred a payment to activate it. Nothing appears on my profile, nor do i have information about the account yet the money was taken from my cheque acc to open it. I contacted customer services which take forever to respond and we keep going in circles. Standard Bank Customer services is useless, might as well outsource or close it down. They dont answer the question or give proper feedback, yet we have to wait forever for this futile attempt of an answer, then respond and wait. Ive had it. The last advice is i can go into the bank to link it or send secure message on internet banking, which the branch will get the next day and then assist/process. WHY? I APPLIED, IT TOOK MY MONEY AND IM EXPECTING IT TO BE AUTOMATED. Why offer it if online if i have to do things manually or in the bank anyways. It isnt credit. Absolutely useless. Learn from FNB. they can teach you a thing or two or ten. Utterley dissapointed and banked with STD for many years.
