I applied for a personal loan online and was pre-approved, told to take my docs into the branch and just sign the contract. The lady who helped me told me I was declined because my commission for one month was more than my salary. I told her that I get paid twice in a month my salary, and commission every 7th of the month which made me get actually more money than just my basic. She told me it doesn't matter and everyone gets declined on a basis where their commission is more than the basic. This was actually just one month that I got more. She told me to try again next month!!! I asked her how it can be possible for nedbank, which I havve been with for 6 years and had two personal loans, not to give me a loan on a basis where I got more money one month than previous. I had a R50000 loan which started in Feb last year and I paid that off in Dec! I have a good credit record, how can they not help me with a loan if they can see what good client I am to them. They send letters to apply for loans and give me a credit card? What saddens me is another bank actually gave me the loan without hassles. I can't trust a bank with my money when they turn on their clients like this!!!
