I applied for a Standard Bank life insurance in October 2013 and other products equating to a monthly premium of around R800. My application was processed and approved subject to them conducting a medical test. I even received a policy number. I then waited for standard bank to contact me to arrange for the medical tests of which they never did. In November 2013 I called them again and they once again promised that I will be contacted within 3 days by a nurse to arrange the medical tests. 2 months down the line I still have not heard from them.
I must say that as a potential client to them their service is very poor not to mention the risk that they are placing me in by not following through on their commitments...If this is how they act when I am trying to get a policy with them, I am scared to imagine how they would act in case of a claim...
