I own a 2007 Isuzu and just before going on leave the check transmission light came on.
I took the car to GM to have a look and said they must send it to Rex gearbox and dif. Rex then but a claim in for the repair of the gearbox and the claim was declined.
Motorite gave me the excuse that there was a additional radiator incorrectly installed and this made the light come on because of overheating.
I spoke to some experts and got second opinions from Spencer gearbox and diff all of them said that the radiator can be installed anywhere on the car, the only reason they install the additional radiator is to split the oil and water from mixing if the radiator packs up.
I also never knew that this radiator was installed and also no inspections was done when Motorite soled the policy to me.
I also feel that I bought the policy as the car was and the policy is specifically for that car. if Motorite did the inspection thay should have picked it up and i would have repaired the car. but like i said no inspections was done by any body.
The repairs is R26 500 and this is not the amount that i have available.
