Lack of communication then account moved to legal

Good day,

I am really not happy with the way my account is handled. I took a loan with Bayport and two months down the line I lost my job. I called Bayport to advise them of this and they asked me to send relevant documents and I did so. I also set a payment arrangement and stuck to it for the duration of my unemployment. I now have part time jobs and I advised that I am now able to pay the actual instalment. An agent called me during November to set a new payment arrangement and I agreed to pay the initial instalment and the amount in arrears in the space of 3 months. I also gave her my banking details and agreed to the debit order on the 25th day of the month.
Early December I was called by an agent stating that I haven't paid my account, I advised that I made a payment arrangement with them and they can debit the money in my account as agreed, she confirmed my banking details and they were indeed the banking details I provided. On the 13th of December 2 debit orders went through. Now today I get a phone call stating that my account has been handed over to the legal department and I should expect the legal team to make me sign forms. No communication has been sent out.
