When accessing internet banking we are often directed to download and install Trusteer software which is not supported for the Linux operating system, and even in MS operating system environment causes legitimate security concerns as it relies on vendors outside the client or the bank computer accessing info on the client computer.
The "Security Overview" on [URL Removed] seems more concerned with protecting and promoting MS interests than the clients and incorrectly assume that all users are using MS Windows which is inherently less secure than a properly configured Linux system fully updated and using the inherent privilege separation when not logged in as root.
Call centre agents are generally not sufficiently knowledgeable about those issues and I fear the bank may be tempted in future cases of internal security breaches by staff and associates to incorrectly blame the clients computer because they are not using MS Windows or "Trusteer".
