Failing to deliver on promise

I had a standard bank credit card, failed to pay it & was handed over to legal department. I paid in June and sent a paid up letter to Emily Gaobotse on 03/10/2013 who advised the balance will be cleared and my bureau details updated. I sent her a follow up e-mail on 09/12/2013 buton both occasions have not not received feedback from her. I called the legal department on 09/12/2013 and was told the balance that is still reflecting will be cleared by 20/12/2013 latest as Emily did not act on the request but guess what the balance is still reflecting. This is really getting to me and is preventing me from applying fo a home loan
