Claims process shocking!

Car was broken into and goods whilst moving. My 1st gripe is that it HAD to be done telephonically! Eventually got through that (2 hours on the phone). Then continuously got e-mails saying that my claim was in the process of being validated. After 2.5 weeks, I have contact the claims department and was advised that I had to get quotes for all the goods (including underwear - have you ever???!). This was NEVER told to me in the first place. Why couldn't they have said this when e-mailing me every 2nd day to say it was being validated???!!! Also claim took place while we were moving and now am told that the DSTV is not covered as it was not in a house. Seriously?!!! Of course it wasn't in a house, I was busy MOVING!!! What really upsets me is that we were told (recently) that we HAD TO move our current insurance through M&F and FNBIB to FNB Insurance Direct. Claims is being handled by IWYZE. I am so at the end of my tether & really need some answers.
